Dr. Janan Abbas is a senior lecturer in the Physiotherapy department at the Zefat Academic College. She worked for 18 years as a physiotherapist at Maccabi Health care and Rambam Medical Center, Haifa and served as a clinical instructor and Training coordinator in Maccabi Health Services Northern District.
Dr. Abbas investigated the subject of degenerative lumbar spinal stenosis in various aspects (demographic, pathologic and morphometry) and published several related articles in leading journals in the field, such as Spine, European Spine Journal.
She is currently engaged in clinical research in a community associated with chronic low back pain.
