עוה"ד רימונה שלג הינה עורכת דין בצוות הפנימי בסנגוריה הציבורית במחוז צפון, בדרגת מנהלת תחום בכירה. הוסמכה כעורכת דין ביוני 2006, החלה את דרכה בהתמחות בפרקליטות מחוז תל-אביב (פלילי), לאחר מכן עבדה כשכירה במשרד עורכי דין פלילי, בהמשך ניהלה עסק עצמאי לעריכת דין העוסק בתחום הפלילי ועבדה כעורכת דין חיצונית של הסנגוריה הציבורית במחוז צפון. החל מחודש ינואר 2011 ועד היום, עורכת דין בסנגוריה הציבורית בצוות הפנימי. במסגרת עבודתה בצוות הפנימי ממונה על מחלקת איכות הייצוג ותחום הערעורים במחוז צפון. בחודש דצמבר 2017 סיימה קורס ניהול דרג תיכוני ("מובילים שינוי"), בשיתוף משרד המשפטים (חטיבת ניהול ההון האנושי) עם האוניברסיטה הפתוחה. במסגרת תפקידה, אחראית על הגשת ערעורים לבית-המשפט המחוזי על הכרעות דין ו/או גזרי דין של בתי משפט השלום. בינואר 2018, הובילה את הקמת המחלקה לאיכות הייצוג בסנגוריה הציבורית במחוז צפון, הקמתה כללה יצירת הנחיות פיקוח לצוות הפנימי והטמעתן בצוות החיצוני; הנחיות אחידות לעורכי הדין; קביעת מדיניות כללית ואיתור נושאים מרכזיים כיעד לטיפול; קביעת דרכי ביקורת ובקרה אחידה, זאת תוך שימת לב לתוכנית השנתית וליעדי המחלקה. במקביל מופיעה בבתי משפט שונים במחוז (כולל פריפריה), הן בבתי משפט שלום, הן בבתי משפט מחוזיים במסגרת ניהול תיקים פליליים מורכבים והן בערעורים בבית המשפט העליון. נוטלת חלק בפרויקטים בקהילה כגון: הרצאות בבתי ספר על ההליך הפלילי והשלכותיו, הרצאות בפני שירות המבחן לנוער, הרצאות בפני שוטרים בקורס חקירות וכן בפעילויות של לשכת עורכי הדין. החל מחודש אוקטובר 2017 ועד היום, מנחה קלינית של הקליניקה לזכויות חשודים ונאשמים בהליך הפלילי יחד עם פרופ' מוחמד ותד המנחה האקדמי ודיקאן בית-הספר למשפטים במכללה האקדמית צפת.

Adv. Rimona Sheleg is a lawyer and a Senior manager in the Public Defender's Office (Northern District). She began her career as an intern at the District Attorney's Office (Criminal division) in Tel-Aviv. She Was then certified as a lawyer in June 2006. Then she worked as a defense attorney at a criminal law firm. Later on she opened up her own law firm and work private cases alongside cases she took as a contractor for the Public Defenders Office in the Northern District. From January 2011 until now, she is a lawyer and a senior manager at the Department of Representation Quality Assurance and Appeals in the Public Defenders Office in the Northern District. In December 2017 Completed a middle level management course ("Leading Change"), in collaboration of the Ministry of Justice (Human Capital Management Division) with the Open University. As part of her role as a senior manager, she is responsible for filing criminal appeals to the District Court. In January 2018, she led the establishment of the Department of Representative Quality Assurance in the Northern District Public Defender's Office, including the establishment of supervisory guidelines for internal staff and the implementation of external staff; Uniformity for attorneys; establishing general policy and identifying key issues as a target for legal arguments; determining uniform audit and control procedures, taking into account the annual plan and department goals. As her role as an attorney, she is representing in complex and high profile criminal cases and appeals in all magistrate courts in the district and in the district court. She is also representing in criminal appeals and procedures before the Supreme Court. She also takes part in community projects such as Lectures in schools about the Criminal Procedure and Implications, lectures in the Juvenile Probation Services, police Investigative Course, and also participates in various activities in the Israel Bar Association. Since October 2017 until today she is a clinical guide at the Clinic on the Rights of Suspects and Defendants in Criminal Trials at the School of Law in Zefat Academic College.
