ד"ר זאיד פלאח הינו שופט בבית-משפט השלום בחיפה, ומומחה במשפט פלילי. בשנת 2014 קיבל את הדוקטורט במשפטים מאוניברסיטת חיפה, ונושא העבודה שלו היה "מעמדו של רב-העבריינים במשפט הפלילי". בעבודתו בחן ד"ר פלאח, בין היתר, את אחריותם הפלילית של ראשי ארגוני הפשע, לעבירות שבוצעו על-ידי חברי ארגונם, גם במקרים בהם ההוראה לביצוע המשימה העבריינית לא ניתנה באופן ישיר ע"י המנהיגים. במהלך לימודי הדוקטורט שהה במכון מקס פלאנק למשפט פלילי השוואתי ובינלאומי, בפרייבורג שבגרמניה, ולאחר סיום הדוקטורט שהה בפקולטה למשפטים בניו-יורק, שם השתלם במשפט פלילי. בשנת 2015 פרסם את ספרו "הפשע המאורגן במשפט", בו סקר, במסגרת המשפט המשווה, מדינות רבות בעולם, בסוגיית דיני השותפות וחלותם על ארגוני הפשע. ד"ר פלאח פרסם מאמרים, בספר קרמניצר, ובהוצאות לאור אחרות. ד"ר פלאח מחזיק בתארים אקדמאיים נוספים, בארכיאולוגיה ובפילוסופיה, מאוניברסיטת ת"א, והוא מרצה בתחום המשפט הפלילי באקדמיה ובלשכת עורכי הדין. החל משנת הלימודים תש"פ משמש כמרצה מן החוץ בבית-הספר למשפטים במכללה האקדמית צפת, שם ילמד קורסים בתחום המשפט הפלילי.
Judge Dr. Zaid Falah
Dr. Zaid Falah is a judge in the Haifa Magistrate's Court and an expert on criminal law. In 2014 he received his doctorate in law from the University of Haifa, and his subject of work was "The Status of the Arch-Criminals in Criminal Law". In his work, Dr. Falah examined, among other things, the criminal responsibility of the heads of criminal organizations for offenses committed by members of their organization, even in cases where the instructions to carry out the delinquent task was not directly given by the leaders. During his doctoral studies he studied at the "Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law", Freiburg-Germany, and after completing his Ph.D. he went to "Cardozo School of Law", New York-USA, where he studied criminal law. In 2015 he published his book "The Organized Crime in Law", in which he reviewed, in comparative law, many countries around the world the issue of partnership law and their application to criminal organizations. Dr. Falah has published articles in the Kremnitzer book and other publications, and holds academic degrees in Archeology and Philosophy from Tel Aviv University. He lectures on criminal law at the academy and the Israel Bar Association. From the year 2019 he will join the School of Law at the Zefat Academic College, as adjunct lecturer, where he will teach courses in criminal law.
