ד"ר עופר סיטבון (B.A., LL.B, LL.M, PH.D) הינו מרצה בכיר בבית-הספר למשפטים של המכללה האקדמית צפת ומכהן גם כראש הקליניקה לתאגידים וחברה במרכז האקדמי למשפט ולעסקים. את עבודת הדוקטורט שלו כתב בפקולטה למשפטים באוניברסיטת תל אביב. מחקרו עסק בניסיון לכלול שיקולי אחריות חברתית במסגרת הרפורמה בדיני התאגידים באנגליה משנת 2006. על המחקר הוא קיבל את פרס קרן וולף לדוקטורנטים מצטיינים, הפרס החשוב מסוגו בישראל לתלמידי מחקר. הוא בעל תואר ראשון במשפטים ובפילוסופיה (בהצטיינות) מן האוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים, ותואר שני במשפטים (בהצטיינות יתרה, ראשון בכיתה) מאוניברסיטת תל אביב. מאמר המבוסס על התיזה זכה בשנת 2007 בפרס גולדברג למאמר המצטיין בתחום דיני העבודה מטעם האגודה הישראלית למשפט העבודה. בשנת 2017 ערך במשותף עם ד"ר רונית דוניץ-קידר את הספר משפט, שוק ופוליטיקה: על אחריות חברתית של תאגידים. הוא ממייסדי כתב העת "מעשי משפט – כתב עת למשפט ולתיקון חברתי" ושימש כעורכו הראשי בין השנים 2007–2012. הוא ממייסדי המכון לאחריות תאגידית במרכז האקדמי למשפט ולעסקים שאותו ניהל בין השנים 2015-2013. מאז 2009 הוא משמש כעמית בכיר וכראש התחום החברתי-כלכלי במכון "שחרית"; ומאז 2018 הוא משמש כעמית מחקר במכון ון-ליר בירושלים וכמנהל שותף של פרויקט המחקר "הכלכלה הפוליטית של הפופוליזם העכשווי", המשותף לשני המכונים. הוא פרסם עשרות מאמרי דעה בעיתונות היומית והכלכלית בישראל. הוא נטל חלק פעיל במאבקים הציבוריים נגד הפרטת בתי הסוהר ונגד ייצוא הגז הטבעי. בשנת 2019 הצטרף לסגל הפקולטה למשפטים במכללה האקדמית צפת ומלמד בה דיני תאגידים ודיני עבודה. 

Dr. Ofer Sitbon

Dr. Ofer Sitbon (B.A., LL.B. LL.M. PH.D) is an associate professor at the Faculty of Law, Zefat Academic College and serves also as the head of the Clinic for Corporations and society at the College of Law & Business. He wrote his dissertation at the Buchmann Faculty of Law, Tel-Aviv University, on the topic of the attempt to include social responsibility considerations during the 2006 UK Company Law Reform. It was awarded the Wolfe Foundation scholarship for outstanding doctoral students - the highest award in Israel for Ph.D. candidates. He Graduated (Magna Cum Laude) from the Faculty of Law (LL.B.) and the Department of Philosophy (B.A.) (1998) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and Summa Cum Laude (1st in class) from the Buchmann Faculty of Law at the Tel Aviv University (LL.M.). An article based upon his LL.M. thesis won the Goldberg Prize for the best annual article in Labor Law awarded by The Israeli Association for Labor Law and Social Security. In 2017 he co-edited (with Dr. Ronit Donyets-Kedar) the book Market, Law and Politics: on Corporate Social Responsibility. He was one of the founders of the Tel Aviv University Journal of Law and Social Change (Ma'asei Mishpat) and served as its editor-in-chief between 2007-2012. He was one of the founders of the Corporate Social Responsibility Institute at the College of Law and Business, and served as its executive director between 2013-2015. Since 2009, he serves as a Senior Fellow and as Head of the Socio-Economic Department at the Shaharit Institute. Since 2018 he serves as a research fellow at Van Leer Jerusalem Institute and co-directs a research group, joint to both institutes, on "The Political Economy of Contemporary Populism”. He has published dozens of op-eds in the leading national and economic newspapers. He participated actively in the public campaigns against the privatization of prisons and the decision to export natural gas. In 2019 he joined the Faculty of Law, Zefat Academic College, where he teaches Corporate Law and Labor Law.
