ד"ר אלעד שילד הוא חבר סגל בבית-הספר למשפטים במכללה האקדמית צפת ומרצה במסלול האקדמי במכללה למנהל ובמכללה האקדמית נתניה. נוסף על כך, מכהן ד"ר שילד כממונה על התביעה המשמעתית במסלול האקדמי במכללה למנהל וכחבר הנהלת מרכז המחקר הבין-תחומי לפיתוח קהילתי רב-תרבותי. ד"ר שילד חבר בלשכת עורכי הדין החל משנת 2006, ובעברו היה שותף בניהול המכון האקדמי לחקר יישוב סכסוכים וגישור. את התואר הראשון במשפטים סיים ד"ר שילד בהצטיינות יתירה, ואת עבודת הדוקטורט, במסגרת המסלול הישיר לדוקטורט, כתב באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים בנושא "אחריותם המשפטית של גורמי ביניים כלפי צרכנים: סוכנויות נסיעות כמקרה בוחן". תחומי המחקר וההוראה המרכזיים של ד"ר שילד הם דיני חוזים, דיני נזקין, ניתוח כלכלי של המשפט ודיני צרכנות.
Dr. Elad Schild
Dr. Elad Schild is a member of the School of Law at Zefat Academic College and a lecturer at the College of Management, Haim Striks School of Law, and at the Netanya Academic College. In addition, Dr. Schild serves as the director of the disciplinary prosecution at the College of Management and as a board member of the Interdisciplinary Research Center for Multi-Cultural Community Development. Dr. Schild is a member of the Israel Bar since 2006 and was formerly the associate manager of the Academic Institute for the Study of Conflict Resolution and Mediation. Dr. Schild completed his LL.B degree with highest honors (summa cum laude), and his doctoral dissertation was written in the direct PhD track at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem on "Legal Liability of Intermediaries Towards Consumers: Travel Agencies as a Case Study". Dr. Schild's main areas of research and teaching are contract law, law of torts, economic analysis of law and Consumer Protection Law.
